We've officially hit the CAD stretch goal for the Reverse Dust Jackets! Because of the fluctuating exchange rate we're a little bit off of the USD goal ( $250,000 ) but I think we'll hit that tonight too!

Have your favorite drink tonight, and let's toast to us, because we did this together.

Can you believe how far we've come?

Four weeks ago today, we launched this Kickstarter, my team and I launched this Kickstarter, then held our breaths.

Would you all love it? Would you want the hardcover editions if you already have the ebooks? Would we fund? We were pretty sure we would, but there's never a guarantee, and I never take my readers or your support for granted.

And then it exploded. You definitely wanted all.the.things. 

We've shared a few glasses of wine on my lives to celebrate, and enjoy the moment. This entire project has been something truly special.

We're only $25,000 USD away from hitting reversible dust jackets! I know so many of you are hoping for those, and I am too.

But now I want to talk about what comes *after* the Kickstarter closes.

When will you get your stuff?

The official delivery date listed for every tier and add-on is January of 2023.

I've picked that date because paper shortages, covid-related delays, and shipping carrier complications have the entire world running behind, and I do not want to promise you'll have your stuff before the holidays and then not be able to deliver on that. 

With that said, our hope is that we are able to ship your books in November of this year, so that you do have them before the holidays. 

If I had to estimate, I'd say there's a 75% chance that the books ship in November.

As for for the tarot cards and swag, it's more like a 95% chance since those are not as dependent on my writing schedule and ability to sign them. If needed, we can send out the cards and swag separately from the books. 

So even though it's only April  (for another day or so) now is a great time to think about who on your list might like a tarot deck, a tumbler, or a set of books under the Christmas tree. 

For the Guardian and Gerry's tier Mystery boxes, those will definitely come before the holidays, and Guardian bags will ship this summer.

About a week after the Kickstarter ends I'll be sending surveys to every backer. It will ask things like how you want your name displayed in the tarot booklet, who you want your books signed to (if you are a Guardian,) your shipping address, and because I don't want to be responsible for any divorces, an option for you to request a note claiming you won a prize be included in your package. 

Regardless of if you answer to no one but yourself, or you are backing this project with your partner's support, or you dipped into your savings, or you're hoping your partner doesn't notice, I want you to know I appreciate each and every one of you, and I value the trust and faith you have in me, and your support.

If you have backed this project, shared this project, or cheered this project, I hope you feel like you've been a part of something special. 

And I'm not just saying that. I hope you can tell that I take your ideas to heart, and when possible, I make them happen.

Several readers have asked for a digital only tier so they could purchase just the Robert novella as either an audiobook or an ebook. That option has now been enabled. Please note, if you get a digital only tier, you won't be eligible for any of the physical bonus items that I'm including for free on the other tiers, like the CRASH FAN ART THAT IS NOW UNLOCKED!

Sorry, had to shout for a minute there, because I'm stoked that the art is happening.

I've also added in another bonus for those of you who are getting Midlife Bounty Hunter as a tier reward, or an add-on. Melissa (the illustrator of the cards) proposed this idea and it seems like fun.

I'll be annotating a scene or two of Midlife Bounty Hunter, making hand written notes on characters, dialogue, inspiration, whatever strikes my fancy! Then, she'll format those right into the hardback for all to enjoy. 

Our next stretch goal is at $250,000 USD or $315,000 CAD and that's for the Reversible Dust Jackets!

I still think we might hit that. If we do, how do you plan to display your copies? With the reverse Jacket art, the standard art, or naked?

As of this update over THREE HUNDRED of you want a tarot cloth.

Which is absolutely incredible. 

Crafting is underway and I am loving this fabric. Not every cloth will be exactly the same. Some may have different backings, but they will all be magical and magnificent.

Five days to go!

What a whirlwind of a month it has been.

On the last update, Tarot card stickers were requested and I thought that was a great idea! So we made it happen. In the add-on menu you can now choose between a Death card, a Moon card, a Ten of Swords, or a combo pack!

These stickers don't replace the "I helped Shannon peak" bonus stickers. Those we will toss in as a freebie. But for those who wanted card stickers, here you go.

The first batch of enamel pins arrived today and they are spectacular! 

With only five days to go, I'm still hopeful that we'll hit at least one if not two more stretch goals. Both the Crash art and the Reversible Dust Jackets are something that I'd love to see happen. We talked a bit about bonuses and stretch goals last night on FB Live. You can catch the replay HERE
