Happy July! I've got a brief update (Plus Guardians, please update your address if needed by Tuesday.)

In the two months since the Kickstarter officially ended my team and I have been hard at work finalizing all the details to get your gorgeous books, tarot cards, and add-ons ready to go!

Everything has either been ordered, or is in the revision/proofing stage where we're working with vendors to make things just right. 

As of this update, we're still running on time, and in some aspects are running ahead of schedule. I still plan for books and decks to be shipped by January of 2023 as promised, and am hopeful that we'll be able to ship them in November.

For Guardian tier backers, your bags will be shipping out next week! Yup, you read that right. If you're a Guardian, please make sure you've updated your address if you've moved, as we'll be shipping your Bree's bag very soon.

After bags are done, we're waiting on a few more box items to arrive. We expect to be able to ship the Guardian and Gerry's Mystery boxes in late August!

You all are once again proving that my readers are the absolute BEST.

The company that we're using to help us with surveys usually sees about 80% of surveys answered in the first week. You all hit that on day ONE of surveys, and now there are only 163 of you who haven't done your survey. This has allowed us to go ahead and start the ordering process for some items. Because of this, we're confident that we can get the mystery boxes for Gerry's and Guardians out well before the holidays. Here are current shipping plans:

Guardian's bags: July *

Gerry's and Guardian's mystery boxes: September *

Everything else: November  **

Or, you can also search for "Please help us by filling out your kickstarter survey" coming from [email protected] - Both of these emails have links to your individual survey that we need you to fill out. Pick one, and fill it out.

If you HAVE done your survey, but would like to make changes, you can use your same link to access your survey and make any changes you wish.

If you would like to upgrade your pledge:

When you click your survey link, there is a small link beneath the "Get Started" button where you can change your tier.

Once your survey is complete, keep an eye out for a discount code to my merch shop. It comes from either [email protected] or [email protected] These are not automated, so don't expect them to arrive the moment your survey is complete. We're sending them in batches every few days. (another round will go out tonight.)

There are a few of you whose emails are bouncing. If you're one of those, I've sent you a message directly through Kickstarter.

Backer Surveys are going out tomorrow for 95% of backers

Surveys are set and ready to go!

In fact, a handful of you may already have them. We've sent a small batch of them tonight just to make sure everything is running smoothly, and baring any issues we'll send the rest tomorrow. Here are a few important things to know:

• You can expect them around noon EST on 5/13.
• Responses are due no later than May 23rd.
• On Saturday we'll send a round of Merch Shop discount codes to everyone who filled out their survey in the first 24 hours. Additional rounds will begin going out on Tuesday, so if you want to be in that early batch of discount codes we recommend answering promptly.
• When you get your survey you'll have the opportunity to upgrade your pledge if you desire, as well as add on additional add-ons.

If you have not gotten your survey by Monday, please email [email protected] for support.

When you submit your survey, you'll see a link on your confirmation page to a Kickstarter exclusive shirt. If you want one, you'll be able to use your discount code on it, and it will ship within a few weeks. The design is the same as the free bonus sticker.

My team is already working on finalizing designs with vendors so we can move forward with ordering rewards as soon as we have more definite quantities. Once 75% of the surveys have been answered we'll have a good idea of how many numbers are changing, and can begin placing those orders. The sooner we place orders, the more chance there is that we can ship in November.

In other news, I've started writing Midlife Magic Hunter! Once that's done, I get to jump right into writing Robert. 

Updated Survey Timeline + Wishes for a restful day

I hope you've had a perfect weekend so far, especially to all the moms out there.

If you're loved ones need a bit of a hint, allow me to suggest you go ahead and treat yourself. You deserve it! (Don't forget we also offer gift cards!)

There's been a change to the planned backer survey schedule. The surveys go through a very detailed review process from our survey partner so we can hopefully head off any potential glitches before they happen. I know you're eager for them, but we want to do them right!

Right now my best estimate is that they will come out on Thursday or Friday. If it's going to be later than that, I'll do another update.

We dropped a ton of new designs into the merch shop Friday, and you'll be able to use the discount codes coming out after you complete your backer survey on all those new goodies! We're not in danger of selling out of any of the new stuff, and if we do, we'll restock so don't stress. It's totally okay to wait for your discount without any fear of missing out. But it would be a great time to make yourself a wish list.

I have been able to confirm that when surveys come out you'll be able to upgrade to new tiers, plus add on additional add ons (except the Inner Circle tumbler. That was exclusively available during the Kickstarter period.) AND for upgrades, you'll be able to pay for any extra cost with Paypal. I know that change will make many of you happy!~

I'm starting to write Midlife Magic Hunter first thing tomorrow, and after that it will be on to the Robert novella! I absolutely cannot wait.

We did it!

This has been an absolute WHIRLWIND and I know you may have some questions.

First, if you missed getting your pledge in, you can still reserve some items (but you cannot select a full tier package, and will not get any of the free bonuses that came through Kickstarter.) If you DID pledge through Kickstarter, please do NOT use the link above to reserve extra items. You can do that when backer surveys come out. If you reserve more items now, and you pledged, that will create two separate orders for you ( and us ) to manage.

What happens next?

We Celebrate! Okay, but after that?

Kickstarter is already in the process of finalizing your payments, and that process will take about a week to enable you to fix any potential payment errors.

Backer Surveys

I don't have a date for surveys to be sent yet, but I will post another update once they've all gone out. I expect this to be around May 9th. 

Your backer survey will give you the option to modify your pledge and add-ons, and update your shipping address. You'll be able to continue updating that shipping address after the survey period ends. 

NOTE: If you used an AppleID with the Private Relay  feature to login to Kickstarter, you may not receive your BackerKit  survey email. We will not be able to ship your rewards without your survey being completed.  If you do not receive your survey *once we have posted an update saying they've gone out* please contact us at [email protected] with your backer number and an alternate email address.

In the meantime...

We're finalizing design options with our vendors, and preparing everything we need to place our orders for merchandise and books as soon as we have a final tally. Around May 24th, we'll place our orders. After that point, we'll leave pre-orders open at www.mayersmerch.com as long as we have the incoming inventory to do so. But when we run out, we run out.

When inventory arrives we'll keep you updated and post some sneak peeks. Most likely, we'll post those on a spoiler event in the Mayer's Magnificent Readers Facebook group so that those who don't want to be spoiled before they arrive won't be. 

And when we're ready to ship, we'll send out an email prompting you to check your shipping address. We want to make sure your packages arrive to you safely, and having an accurate shipping address will be an important part of that. Many of our communications will come from [email protected] so it is a good idea to whitelist that email address. If you need instructions on how to do that, visit this link.

If you need support with your order please email [email protected] rather than contacting us by Kickstarter's message system. This will allow us to quickly get your request to the correct team member.
